Having recently relocated to North Dakota to work as a software developer, I'm subjected to a remoteness I've never experienced, nor asked for.

My fantasies of residing amongst gorgeous treelined avenues of Los Angeles, Chicago, or whatever iconic American city are on pause in the meantime. For a moment, I've slowed down.
That makes two of us
To dedicate my desire of being surrounded by beauty, to my reality of being surrounded by an equally genuine American experience, I've sought out beauty of authenticity from my surroundings to capture what I long for.

Nondescript glimpses into what many of us who grew up in hardly-noteworthy towns tend to flee from. But, the same sun shines down on these trees and streets as they do in any of America's notarized cities.
